WAMP MEMBERSHIP

WAMP is the first African organization based in Africa dedicated to the development of private, community, specialized and public museums in West Africa. Its mission is to contribute to the reinforcement of capacities and to attend museums and similar institutions in West Africa beyond the linguistic and geographical barriers. WAMP organizes seminaries and training workshops and encourages cooperation between the African museums as well as the relations with the international and African professionals networks.

WAMP activities cover 17 West African countries : Benin, Burkina, Cap-Vert, Cameroon, Ivory Coast, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo.
